It is “better to give than to receive” is something that most of us have been told all our lives… “cast your bread upon the water and it will come back double to you”… together with lots of the other adages.
The “gift” need not be a material one… it can be a helping hand, a kind word, or even a smile. When we give of ourselves, we feel better about ourselves… with that warm glow that lights us from within.
As the holiday season is winding up, let’s reflect on how we can bring more joy into the lives of others. We all have so much to offer.
